Awards and scholarships

• November 2012 – May 2013 scholarship from the Italian Ministry of Education, Universities and Research to teach Italian at the Vienna Business School, Austria
• December 2010 – February 2011: Marco Polo scholarship granted by the Department of Interdisciplinary Studies in Translation, Languages and Cultures (SITLeC) of the University of Bologna in order to research the strategies used by interpreters translating simultaneously from Polish into Italian and the contrastive grammar of Polish and Italian.
• October 2009 – June 2011: scholarship granted by the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
• July – August 2009: Polish language course at the Salesian University financed by the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
• August 2008: award from the UJ Center for Polish Language and Culture in the World UJ for progress made in learning Polish.
• 2007-2008: Comenius scholarship to work as a language assistant at the secondary school in Rymanów.
• 2007-2008: scholarship from the Italian Ministry of Education, Universities and Research to work as a language assistant in Grenoble (France).
• 2007: scholarship from the Advanced School for Interpreters and Translators at Forlì to carry out a research for the MA dissertation in Winterthur, Switzerland.
• March 2007: Rita was chosen among the students attending the ZWH Advanced School for Interpreters and Translator at Winterthur to interpret for the representatives of the Parliament of Zurich.
• October 2006 – March 2007: Erasmus scholarship granted by the University of Zurich to study at the Zürcher Hochschule Winterthur.
• October 2005 – March 2006: Erasmus scholarship to study at the University of Greater Manchester, Salford.
• October 1997 and October 1999: Torricelli Grammar School, specialist language school – award for the achieving the highest grades in all subjects.
• October 1996: High school G. Ugonia – award for achieving the best grades in all subjects.
